    We offer a PRIVATE BOAT with a discreet service daily including weekends between 10.00 and sunset. The overall service lasts 1 hour.

    We cater for small and large groups (from 2 to 50 guests). Whilst maximum numbers are limited to 50, including children & babies, a larger vessel can be booked at an additional cost.

    CELEBRATION OF LIFE

    We charter boats so that families and friends can meet following a funeral in an informal and relaxed environment. Your guests will be at ease as you cruise the tranquil reaches of the Upper Thames. The Celebration of Life Cruise is 2.5 hours long

    Our aim is to make things easy for the bereaved, at a difficult time.

    We have a full bar service, and of course, catering is available too.

    URNS

    PILLOW URN: This is a lightweight urn in the shape of a pillow which floats for a few minutes before sinking. You will need to place the ashes into the urn yourself once on board.

    Cost is £80.00

    KHANDA URN for Sikh religion: This is a clay urn with a Khanda symbol on the lid. This urn sinks straight away and dissolves under water. You will need to place the ashes into the urn yourself and seal the lid, once on board.

    Cost is £115.00

    OM URN for Hindu religion: This is a clay urn with an Om symbol on the lid. This urn sinks straight away and dissolves under water. You will need to place the ashes into the urn yourself and seal the lid, once on board.

  • Natural preserved rose petals are available and are a lovely touch following ashes scattering

    PETALS

    We often receive requests to scatter flowers and flower petals as they follow the path of the ashes as they continue their journey down river. This gives the family an opportunity to reflect as the petals line the surface of the river.

    As these are biodegradable it is possible to scatter these with the ashes.

    FLOWER PETALS: 1 litre bag, a mix of white and red preseved petals. You may require multiple bags for larger groups.

    Cost is £17.50 per bag

  • Offer guests a refreshing cup of tea or coffee

    Tea and Coffee Packages

    Of course, all of our boats have fully licenced bars on board.

    This includes tea and coffee.

    Guests are welcome to buy there own drinks whilst on board, but alternatively you as hosts may wish to ensure your guests have a tea or coffee included as part of the event.

    We can offer a special tea and coffee package to ensure that during the trip unlimited teas and coffees are provided - all for a fixed cost

Useful information

The departure point is WINDSOR PROMENADE (SL4 1QX).

You are welcome to bring your own Priest or Pandit / Pujari.

Parking is in Alexandra car park off Alma Road (SL4 3HY) this is about a 3 to 4 minute walk. For elderly guests or for those that struggle to walk far, the closest recommended car park is River Street car park which is across the road behind Browns restaurant. There is blue badge parking for disabled guests at River Street car park.

Family pets are of course welcome.

Our boats are very suitable for all sizes of family groups from small groups of under 12 to larger groups of up to 50. We will endeavour to provide the most suitable option for you. Larger boats are available if required.

Your own music is allowed, we recommend prerecorded CD’s or electronic devices with a headphone socket - this connects to our PA.

It is also possible to scatter the ashes of your beloved pet.
