Where does the boat depart from?
The departure point is WINDSOR PROMENADE (SL4 1QX).
This is located close to several car parks, and the two railway stations in Windsor.

Where can I park?
Parking is in Alexandra car park off Alma Road (SL4 3HY) this is about a 3 to 4 minute walk. For elderly guests or for those that struggle to walk far, the closest recommended car park is River Street car park which is across the road behind Browns restaurant. There is blue badge parking for disabled guests at River Street car park.

Can we bring a Pandit?
You are welcome to bring your own Priest or Pandit / Pujari.
You may also make your own arrangements for a dove release.

Are pets permitted?
Well behaved family pets are of course welcome.
It is also possible to scatter the ashes of your beloved pet.

What is the capacity of the boat?
Our boats are very suitable for all sizes of family groups from small groups of under 12 to larger groups of up to 50. We will endeavour to provide the most suitable option for you.
Larger boats are available if required.

Is music allowed?
Your own music is allowed, we recommend prerecorded CD’s or electronic devices with a headphone socket - this connects to our PA.

What train services come into Windsor?
Trains from London Waterloo terminate at Windsor and Eton Riverside Station.
Trains coming into Windsor Central Station connect with the Elizabeth Line at Slough.
Both stations are an easy 4 minute walk to Windsor Promenade (SL4 1QX)

Can I scatter the ashes of my pet?
We also offer charters to allow the spreading of the ashes of a beloved pet.

Where are the ashes scattered?
Ashes are scattered into the flowing water of the beautiful upper reaches of the River Thames, usually at Boveney Weir. This allows the ashes to flow with the current. The River Thames flows continuously eventually entering the sea.
